Our vessel Seafari II apart from the glass bottom, has a marine mammal watch permit so whilst we are visiting the marine wild life in the reserve we can get up close and personal to our marine mammals when they visit.

We normally encounter dolphins once or twice a week in summer. Our transient Orca whales visit about every three months and our NZ fur seals spend all winter here. Our 2 hour trips depart Whitianga Wharf daily year round and also visit world famous Cathedral Cove and Orua cave.
